No news on jailed student activist after 45 days

There is no information on the condition of Foad Sajoudi Farimani, an Amir Kabir University student who was arrested 45 days ago.

According to reports, despite being arrested in Mid September by security forces, there is no information on his health or how he is being treated in prison. The only information that was attained after one and a half months is that he was arrested by Revolutionary Guards Corps forces and has been detained in a solitary cell in cellblock 2A which is run by the RGC in Evin Prison.

There have been many reports of torture and pressure on prisoners in this cellblock in Evin Prison. (Daneshju News – Nov. 2, 2010)
